Beginnings

Part One

Augusta, Ga

His name was The Gray Zombie. In actuality, it was his internet alter ego, he had another name, a name his parents gave him at birth, but the mysterious letter ha had received was addressed to The Gray Zombie, so The Gray Zombie he was, and it might be added, not a very happy Gray Zombie

The letter he had received informed him that it was of the utmost importance that he come to an address, located in downtown Augusta, Ga. He never cared much for the downtown area, but he thought, perhaps E_B_A was opening a nightclub or something of that nature, and wanted his opinion. However, the building looked old and deserted, with boarded up windows and twenty year old graffiti on the walls. The Gray Zombie gave a heavy sigh.

"Ok," he said out loud "do we take the risk and walk inside, or do we take our happy ass back home?"

He looked at the building again, looked up the street, down the street, and then looked straight up.

"Oh well," he said, trying to impersonate Brian Blessed, "Who wants to live forever?" and walked inside the building.

Someplace Else

The gentleman stared at the monitor's in front of him, on one of the monitors, five individuals sat around a table, all with worried looks on their faces. Of the five only two, a male and female, had their arms around each other, comforting each other.

"Soon my friends, you'll know the purpose of your coming here." He whispered, then in a normal tone called out, "Computer, what of The Gray Zombie?"

A voice, sounding almost as if it were coming from an actual living individual, replied, "He has entered the building. He should be entering the transportal soon."

"Good, I do not wish to keep the rest of our guests waiting too much longer."

Augusta, Ga

The Gray Zombie looked around the lobby of the building. The room's contents consisted of dust, cobwebs, a rat, a few roaches. Just your typical deserted building contents.

"Gray, old buddy," he said out loud, again "this would be an occasion to think someone's playing some sort of stupid joke on you, if not for that." in which he pointed at the elevator doors, which were the only things in the entire building that was clean. He walked closer to the doors, which were so clean, he was able to see himself.

"OH, CRAP!" he exclaimed, wiping his nose "How long was that hanging there? No wonder those idiots were snickering."

After double checking his nostril's to make certain no more unwanted 'visitors' would begin to hang out, he pushed the elevator button. The doors came open, he walked in, the doors closed. He looked at the elevator panel. Only one button.

Gee, he thought this time to himself, I wonder which floor I should go to?

And with that, he pushed the button......

And then, he wasn't in the elevator anymore, but in a room with five other people, three male, two female. One of the male's came towards him, hand extended. The Gray Zombie knew who this individual was, seeing as how this guy had images of himself on his website, just like The Gray Zombie did.

"Gray!" DanZero said, shaking Gray Zombie's hand, "You know, I had this strange feeling you were going to show up."

    "Where is here?"

"Not sure, but it appears to be attracting Cappers only."

"Why am I not surprised that us Capper's will be involved?" The Gray Zombie asked

"Yea, I know it's weird," DanZero continued putting his arm around one of the females, "But on the plus side, I've finally got to meet Medusa."

"Hi, Gray." MedusaD said, with a wave

    "Medusa" Gray replied

The other female put her arms around Gray Zombie "So" she said, "Did you bring any of your magical underwear with you? We may need it."

"No, did you bring any of your otter friends with you?"

"Boy, you're good, and you never saw my picture," animebabe replied, "That just leaves BuckFifty and Rizzz, over there."

BuckFifty and Rizzz both introduced themselves to the Gray Zombie.

"So" Buck asked, "You have no idea why we're here?"

Gray Zombie shook his head, "Not a clue. Just got a letter in the snailmail box telling me to go to this one address, found myself mysteriously transported here. And if Capper's from different parts of the US are involved, it can't be anything good."

"I'm going to agree with The Gray Zombie," said Rizzz, "There's only one door out of this room and it's closed and I can't find a way to open it. No doorknobs."

The Gray Zombie shrugged, "That reminds me of a girl I used to date who had some very large knockers, but that's neither here nor there."

MedusaD laughed and shook her head. "A Capper through and through, huh, Gray?

The Gray Zombie bowed, "I live to please."

The voice startled them all, "Good, that's what I've been wanting to hear."

They all turned towards the direction of the voice. The doors were now open. Standing in the doorway, stood a gentleman. Extremely well dressed. Appearing in his late 40's, balding at the top. His voice gave the air of being very well educated.

"Definitely not a Capper." muttered The Gray Zombie

"Hey, umm, excuse us," Buckfifty said, finally having enough of all the mystery. "Who are you and why did you bring us here? You did bring us here, didn't you?"

The gentleman smiled, "Yes, I can understand you being upset at all this. My apologies for any inconvenience, but it was important that I bring you here."

The Gray Zombie shrugged, "Oh hey, it's alright. I was over due for my extraterrestrial abductions for this week anyway."

"Please," Medusa asked, "answer Buck's question. Who are you and why are we here?"

The stranger sat down at the head of the table and motioned the o
